American Educators Visited Wenzhou CPPCC Committee for Liaison with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese and of Foreign Affairs

On March 16, Dr. Steve Living ston, founder of the US Houston Christian High School, and Ms. Xu Li from Houston Oriental Art Center paid a visit to Wenzhou Municipal Government, at the invitation to engage in the educational exchange programs in Wenzhou. They also had friendly talks with officials from Wenzhou CPPCC Committee for Liaison with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese and of Foreign Affairs
Yu Meisheng and Xu Yufei, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Wenzhou Committee of the CPPCC respectively, welcomed the American guests and took photos with them.  
Also named as Bush High School, Christian High School is the only high school funded by a presidential foundation in the US. Sponsored by Bush Foundation, the high school boasts high prestige in the US. Its visit to Wenzhou aims to negotiate educational cooperative programs for developing leadership with Wenzhou’s high schools, so as to cultivate a new generation of elite with international outlooks. After introducing the guests and hosts, Pan Yixin, director of Wenzhou CPPCC Committee for Liaison with Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese and of Foreign Affairs, and Xu Jie, director of Wenzhou Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, detailed on the developments of Wenzhou and Wenzhou Kean University -- an officially launched Sino-US cooperative program. They also expressed their hope for enhancing friendship through such beneficial cooperative programs and jointly seeking a road for cooperation.
